Path of Exile Beta Impression

I tried Path of Exile by Grinding Gear Games before when it's still in Closed Beta and didn't really find it that interesting. It might be that I'm an idiot or it might just be I missed PoE's good points because I was still playing Diablo III back then(which still means that I'm an idiot). Now that PoE entered Open Beta I try to play it again. Is it good? or do I still think it's just "meh"?

My 3 Most Disappointing Games of 2012

Well, after listing the 5 games that I enjoyed this year, let's get in to my 3 most disappointing games of 2012 list. Being in this list doesn't necessarily mean that the game is a bad game but it just doesn't deliver what I expected from these titles. These are games that I really look forward to play but ultimately fails to deliver.

Torchlight II Late Review(contains a bit of Diablo III review)

I know, I know that Torchlight 2 have been out for quite some time but I was still playing Diablo 3 when it first comes out. Now that I've gotten sick and tired of Diablo 3 and have at last noticed its many flaws I started playing Torchlight 2.

My Impressions on the Diablo 3 Open beta

Well actually it's more of my impression on the game itself.
I feel that the game delivers what I expects from a Diablo game. The control is good, everything feels right and not clunky like most of the Diablo Clones out there. The environment looks good and definitely not cartoony. Enough to say that graphically, the game looks astonishing.

Gameplay-wise it is a solid game with even more action than its predecessor IMO. The number of available skills is a bit limited but I understand what Blizzard is trying to do. And simplifying the gameplay is not always a bad thing. It actually makes it a lot more appealing to me personally.

In short(although this is already short) I'd definitely buy Diablo 3 and will probably play it for quite some time. At least until Guild Wars 2 comes out :D
