March of War Early Access Impressions

I like Turn Based Strategy games and I like World War II setting so when a game combine both and gave the setting a more unique touch by making it an alternate history with Dieselpunk influence of course I'll be really interested in it. March of War successfully gained my interest and I immediately tried it after it went on Steam's Early Access. Is the game any good? let's find out.

Star Conflict Beta Impressions

I was never a Space-Sim fan, I get disoriented easily and the controls are usually too complicated for me to get into. So imagine how I felt when I tried Star Conflict for the first time. I jumped in expecting to get upset over the usual controls but instead I came out with a new favorite game.

Freemium MMOs Are The Future

Freemium is the latest trend in MMO, and plenty of AAA games have changed their business model from Pay to Play to Freemium. There are however other MMOs that are still trying to use the Pay to Play model. Is Pay to Play model really still viable? or are Freemium and Buy to Play really the way of the future? (Do take note that when I say Freemium I also consider Free to Play and Buy to Play to be on the same boat).

Ghost Recon Online Review

Competitive Cover-based Third Person Shooter is a new thing for me. I've played Cover-Based TPS before like Gears of War and Mass Effect but never played a competitive one where I play against human players. On top of that, I never played any of the Ghost Recon games. So, will I like Ghost Recon Online? or would the game be too alien for me to get into?

Founder's Program Trend in Gaming

After the trend of Kickstarting a game which is still running quite well until now, game devs are starting another trend which worries me quite a bit, Founder's Programs. Plenty of games has done this namely Path of Exile, Firefall, Marvel Heroes, Neverwinter, and some others I might have forgotten. Is this really a good practice? what are the advantage and disadvantages of this program? could it be improved? let's explore about this a bit.

Tekken Card Tournament Beta Impressions

Everyone and their mother knows Tekken so I don't even have to tell you how awesome it is when I heard that they're combining it with Trading Card Game mechanics. I know that it has been done before with the Universal Fighting System TCG but this time, it's also available online.

I got into Firefall closed beta since a few months ago. Tried the game and felt that it has potential but lacks content. Now after a few months I got back into Firefall again and check out whether they made sufficient improvements on the game.

Free to Play = Pay to Win ?

A common misconception within the gaming community is that all Free to Play games or any game with microtransactions are immediately considered as Pay to Win. While for those who knows better this might sound like idiocy or ignorance but this is sadly the belief of so many people. But is it totally wrong though? is Pay to Win just an excuse made by those who just suck at the game? let's explore that shall we.

Warframe Crafting Blueprint Locations

For those who are playing Warframe, you might wonder how to get some of the parts for the non-basic Warframes like Rhino, Ember and Mag. Each of those Warframes needs 3 more parts that needs to be crafted with blueprints. These blueprints can be found as drops from certain bosses.

MechWarrior Online Newbie Tips

MWO is a fun game, whatever the hater said about pay to win or whatever what is important for me is how the game feels. I like the simulation style and that it enforces tactical thinking and teamwork. Although of course PUGs aren't always good for this kind of playstyle but it is still fun nonetheless. Heck I think even losing is still fun in this game. I'm still a giant noob at this game and in most games I usually got blown up because I'm in the wrong place or just because I can't circle strafe to save my life :P
But hey, I believe that new players would need all the tips they could get and these tips I give, although as far as credibility goes is pretty sketchy(well, I'm still using Trial mechs) are still tips that could be pretty useful.

Mechwarrior Online Short Review

MWO is creating a lot of stir especially among its playerbase. Some of them dislike the game because of various reasons and the rest defend it valiantly. But regardless of this, is MWO a good game or is it really a big failure?

Mechwarrior Online Beginner's Guide

Let's face it, MWO isn't the easiest game to get in to and the lack of tutorials in-game makes it even harder. But look pass that then you got a complex game involving  a lot of customization and plenty of details. It is an advanced game but sometimes it feels too advanced for newbies, which will pose a s a big problem. Well now, I am also a big noob at this game and still trying to get the hang of it. I found some videos that would help newbies like myself to learn more about how to play MWO and learn how to suck less at the game.
