First, I'm not going into the debate of the usual JRPGs are weeaboo bullshit + pedophile game, yadda yadda yadda, whatever. You have your preference others have their own preference and if you don't like it, you can just ignore it and don't play it. No need to ruin or deny other people from experiencing it just because you don't like it.
From what I've seen in metacritic, Agarest: Generations of War or otherwise known as Record of Agarest War in the US have a decent metascore of 71 and a userscore of 75. I won't go further into it as I haven't played the game myself but looking at the feature list, the game does look quite interesting.
The graphic in my opinion is okay. Not all RPGs have to be like Mass Effect you know and this style of isometric view with sprites fits the game just fine. With JRPGs I usually only care about the character art anyways and this one definitely does not disappoint. And yes, there are some fanservice arts thrown in here and there but if you don't like it you can just skip through it.
Ghostlight also stated that the PC version will be based on the xbox version of the game which is okay i guess(although I hope they don't use GFWL). There will be keyboard + mouse support, which is good. Also, they will add Steam Achievements. This doesn't really interest me but I know there are people who love achievements.
They will also add some sort of microtransaction to the game. The page states downloadable items and additional content but we'll have to see whether it will ruin the game or not. But regardless of that, do vote yes for Agarest: Generation of War on Steam Greenlight because I do think this game have some interesting mechanics and it would be nice to see more JRPGs on the PC.

lemme just remind u that the combat is bullshit n hard(i've played agarest war zero b4 tho i didn't finish it) n the requires shitloads of grinding. the difference in combat is most felt when fighting bosses coz suddenly it feels like ur changing difficulty from "baby's 1st step" to "SPARTA!!!" difficulty.
