It has been 20 days and Skullgirls' Indiegogo Campaign has already raised $443,458(at the writing of this post). The campaign not only successfully funded Squigly but also Big Band, complete with story mode for both of these characters. But of course, you can still help out.
Lab Zero keeps adding more and more stretch goals to the campaign, all of which are really interesting addition that the community would love to see like alternative voice packs. But now, they've added another stretch goal that will definitely interest another market, MLP fans.
Lab Zero has officially stated last Friday that they are going to let
Mane6, the developer behind My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic use the Skullgirls' engine for free if the campaign reaches $725,000. While Hasbro has shut the unlicensed pony fighting game, the devs are continuing production with a different cast of characters that are still catered to MLP fans.
So there you go, even if you're not a Skullgirls fan, if you're an MLP fan you should probably help out the campaign and contribute towards it because it's still a pretty long way until it reaches $725,000.
