Skullgirls Review
For those of you who have been following this blog since February may have seen my post about Skullgirls' Indiegogo Campaign a few months ago. It's really good to see that the community have worked together to let this great fighting game grow even larger. And now that I've finally got my hands on it through Steam let's see if this game really is as good as I think it is or will it just disappoint me.

Is It Pay To Win? - Warframe
Welcome to the first "Is It Pay to Win?" article. Warframe will be our first game in the series as it's currently a game that I play a lot and one that some people think is Pay to Win. Let's explore Warframe's business model and decide for ourselves whether it really is P2W.

New Series - Is It Pay to Win?
Several discussions in the past few days have made me feel that I need to do more to promote the idea that F2P games aren't always P2W. As sad as it is that a lot of people still believes that F2P = P2W, I do understand that there are a lot of games out there that are F2P games that's P2W. However it is unfair to say that every F2P game is P2W.

Kickstarter Watch #16: Chroma Squad - Indie Sentai Studio
Everyone who had a childhood should know about Sentai Squads, you know Power Rangers and the like. Nowadays, it's a bit rare to find a game about these kind of things so Behold Studios' take on a Sentai Squad game captures my interest immediately. And of course, just like with their last game Knights of Pen and Paper, they've added a unique twist to the story.

Greenlight It! #9: BROFORCE
Some of us love the 80s and 90s action movies and loved The Expendables for what it was, a nostalgia trip for action movie fans. Naturally, we want to see that kind of thing in video game form but The Expendables video games are really bad. But now we have BROFORCE, a sidescrolling platformer action game which will give you your 80s/90s action movie nostalgia trip. And it doesn't suck.

Kickstarter Watch #15 - WARMACHINE: Tactics
As stated on my last article about WARMACHINE: Tactics, the Kickstarter campaign for Privateer Press' video game starts on July 10 and of course I'm going to make a Kickstarter Watch out of it. A game where you can experience the battles of WARMACHINE in the form of a turn-based strategy video game? count me in!
Best Anime Opening of This Season (Summer 2013)
Shingeki no Kyoujin OP? of course not, that's last season. This season's Best Anime Opening really surprised me because it's not an OP that would be expected from such a show. I bet most people who watched were also surprised.

Warmachine Tactics Kickstarter Campaign Starting on July 10
Tabletop Miniature Gamers should already be familiar with Privateer Press' WARMACHINE. A steampunk miniature game featuring Warjacks, which is essentially robots equipped with various weapons controlled by magic users called Warcasters. A few years back, privateer Press had already announced that they are going to make a WARMACHINE video game, but no news have come out since aside from a few videos. Now, Privateer Press has announced that they are going to start a Kickstarter Campaign to fund their WARMACHINE video game. Better yet, it is no longer an third person action game but a turn based strategy game instead.

Kickstarter Watch #12: SOS: Ship of Sacrifice
This is one Indie title I'd guess most people won't know about, which is why I will try to help spread it out to more people. It's a co-op adventure game with puzzles where two players must work together to escape from a sinking cruise ship.

Greenlight It! #8: Go! Go! Nippon! ~My First Trip to Japan~
Visual Novels are usually about telling a story, like what you guys could see on the last Greenlight It! which talks about Dysfunctional System. Now today's Greenlight It! will also be about a VN, however the purpose of this VN is a bit different than usual. It does still have a story to tell but it's main purpose is to act as a tour guide for those who are planning to go to Japan or just wanted to experience what it is like over there.

March of War Early Access Impressions
I like Turn Based Strategy games and I like World War II setting so when a game combine both and gave the setting a more unique touch by making it an alternate history with Dieselpunk influence of course I'll be really interested in it. March of War successfully gained my interest and I immediately tried it after it went on Steam's Early Access. Is the game any good? let's find out.

Company of Heroes II Beta Impressions
Quite a lot of people are waiting for Company of Heroes II. As for me, I like the original Company of Heroes but I was never a big fan of the multiplayer aspect of RTS. And now with the multiplayer beta of CoH II I finally try to jump in and find out if the multiplayer of CoH II is good enough for an amateur skirmisher like myself and what new things does CoH II offers.

Marvel Heroes First(Second?) Impression
Marvel Heroes doesn't really have a good actual first impression for me when I play it on the closed beta. Really bad performance issues, some weird character models(lol @ Thor) and an overall feel of the game that leave a lot to be desired. I decided to give it a second chance and jump in when it's released. This would technically be a second impression? whatever, I'm experiencing the "actual" finished game for the first time so I'm going to say first impression, deal with it.

I have decided to make a beginner's guide for games that I am playing and currently, aside from Neverwinter and Warframe I play quite a lot of World of Tanks. So, enjoy this beginner's guide and I hope this could help new tankers.

Greenlight It! #6: The Novelist
Back again with another Greenlight It! blogpost. Today I'm going to talk about a really interesting looking game called The Novelist. This game is made by Kent Hudson, the guy behind a few AAA games(Thief: Deadly Shadows, Bioshock 2, etc) and explores the story of Dan Kaplan, a novelist who is struggling to finish his work while trying to be there for his family.

Cross Code Tech Demo++ Impressions
I always like anime-style Indie games and when someone happened to show me Cross-Code I am instantly interested in it. As I play the tech demo, the game showed me that it has more to offer than just anime-style art. And it's all done with HTML5.

Guns of Icarus Online Review
Competitive multiplayer games rarely focuses on teamwork. Don't get me wrong, you need teamwork to win, but most of the time being a better shot beats working together as a team. of course there are several exceptions to this as you can see in games like World of Tanks and Mechwarrior Online where you need to work together to win. Guns of Icarus IMO takes this to another level, does this makes Guns of Icarus a great game?
